Join us in Uvita, home to Marino Ballena National Park, the first marine protected park in Central America! Wildlife abounds in the scenic waters of South Pacific Costa Rica, from numerous tropical birds to dolphins, Sea Turtles and LOTS of whale species! A Florida native with a degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, over 8 years of experience guiding people , and a certified registered Yoga Teacher Trainer with Yoga Alliance, Courtney Fletcher will lead you through all the coursework so that you can confidently teach yoga on a paddleboard.
Learn the basics of paddle boarding techniques, how to facilitate and teach SUP Yoga Classes, pranayama and asanas for paddle boarding, weather and water safety, and Paddleboard Yoga business application.
You will learn correct paddle skills and turns, water safety, modification of yoga poses on the board, how to teach beginner and advanced student all while learning to teach Paddleboard Yoga to individuals, couples, and group classes. Before you leave you will teach your first Paddleboard Yoga class. Registered Yoga Teachers can add 25 contact hours to their registration with Yoga Alliance.
